Wow, talk about killing the guy.

- not a savvy route runner?
- limited elusiveness?
- not tough or physical?

Who wrote this up? And let me ask, do you think guys like Smith and Emery, whose jobs depend on getting the best players available to win now didn't investigate charges from THREE and FOUR years ago? Please.

This guy is going to revolutionize how the Bears utilize the TE.

Thanks for the shout out Evan. I have no hope for playoffs for the Sox this year, but I'll watch opening day all the same.

I was so, so jealous that you got to intreview Robert Osborne (I consider him to be the human encyclopedia of film). This would be an intreview of a lifetime. Kudos to you for lining this up, it was a lot of fun to watch and I thought your questions were interesting even if I was jealous during the whole segment.

The ABET might help a little.. you might get an ivertniew if your resume is good and the company is hurting. As an employer however, unless you had some compelling reason for taking an online degree (e.g. you were deployed and studied while in the field or maybe had a full time job that required a lot of travel). IT and CS is way more than knowledge skills, effective people need good skills for working with customers and team members. In general, I would view it very negatively as a sign that you are one or more of: a) too lazy to go back and forth to a regular college, b) so poor in social skills and cannot work well with others so online was your only option c) someone that see yourself at the center of the world, where things should come to you.The fact that you studied IT rather than CS, would further degrade the value of the degree.

Tom Horne is right and right to quote Martin Luther King. Some of these classes, in icrtpaular, the Raza-based classes are revolutionary, anti-American electives. This is an outrage and abuse of tax payer money. No one is against the teaching of the great works of Latinos and African-Americans in high school classes. Further, go to any public university in the U.S. and you can get ethnic studies on the baccalaureate level. Higher education is the proper level for deeper ethnic studies after educational basics are taught. This is high school. The bill specifically states that classes in high school cannot be taught that promulgate the "overthrow the American Government," or that promote ethnic separatism.

Hello,Let me see if I can answer your qtsiueon.I work in Government Defence and the ABET is HUGE leverage but in most cases you need to point the ABET out to the potential employer. Recruiting for company A will know and they should disseminate that info but don't count on them, take care of yourself.I am enrolled on the BS in IT Degree program at Capella and I love it! But its all online. I say that with qualification. Some class professors do videos, some do conference calls for classes such as Java Programming and others want everything in writing. So be prepared and here is what you need to consider.- Again, be prepared. Can't say that enough. On-line learning is a different approach (superior in my own opinion) but you will do a lot of writing for ALL classes. (Don't forget the research part of the writing)- You need to be self motivated; its all online with deadlines that help but motivation is key!- If you require verbal communication the videos will help you but for some they are not a substitute to in-class lecture. I personal never gained anything from the classroom. In fact I have learned much much more form seeking and researching everything without instruction. Honestly I think classroom instruction is far more limiting. So with all of that, the ABET in the Government Defence Industry is a major factor, and it was a key qualifier for my choice of Capella. The flexibility of on-line learning is also a big factor for myself. I believe online learning requires much more strong willed personalities. Believe me the Industry knows this, recognize it and reward it.Hope this helps and good luck in your endeavours.
